~Pura Vida~ (Pure life)

It was a Saturday morning and my first week in Costa Rica had flown by quicker than I could have expected. Luckily I still had 2 more beautiful weeks left to enjoy. But this particular day was different, it was a saturday, meaning the WEEKEND had arrived that meant our group would be staying in a hotel. Homework was done and it was the transition into a new home-stay and a new city, I was in for a real delight. I boarded the bus along with my other classmates after saying bye to our Mama Tica. Hours later we arrived at our destination, a beautiful hotel with a breathtaking view of Arenal Volcano just outside our door. As I stepped off the bus I was greeted with a tropical drink. The weather was warm and my eyes were just enriched with greenery every where I looked. I was given a wristband and my roommates and I headed for our room. we were welcomed by fresh air conditioning and white sheets.I felt like I was in paradise. We quickly put down our luggage and pulled out our swim suits. In a few min we would be heading to the HOT SPRINGS.Gosh, I mean could I ask for anything more? There wasn't a care in the world on my mind,  and time never seemed to have an existence. I would give any day to be back in this moment. I'ts always wonderful to take some time out of a day and just ENJOY IT :)

Today, after sharing my experience to the new students who will be attending costa rica this summer , I couldn't help but think how thankful that I am to have been able to experience such a trip. Every day there was full of stories ,gut aching laughs, and overflowing memories.Costa Rican's know how to appreciate life and they provided me with an environment to do the same. I hope that places like these never fade.

One last thing.....

If you are ever given the opportunity to Study abroad ... TAKE IT because you wont regret it.
